Powder Brows

Powder brows, Ombre brows, or Shaded brows, are currently one of the most popular brow trends. The process involves the machine application of small dots of pigments, which build to form a full and defined brow. This differs from microblading, which involves manual hair-like strokes to fill in the brows. This brow method also results in a fuller and more dramatic look than microbladed brows. Powder brows resemble a traditional brow tattoo. Because the machine can penetrate more deeply than manual pigment insertion, powder brows typically last longer than microblading. This method is very suitable for all skin types, but especially those with oily skin. Even if you have naturally full brows, and just want a little extra, powder brows can achieve a soft look with a defined shape that will emphasize your features and compliment your facial structure! This machine technique can also be combined with microblading strokes to create Hybrid Brows.

The Process

The first appointment is called the Initial Session:

  • We will first apply a topical numbing cream around your eyebrow area, then you will sit and relax in our comfortable lounge for 45 minutes of numbing

  • Next, we will take "before" pictures, so we can document the changes in your eyebrows

  • Then, you will be given a very detailed consultation in order to ensure that you and the service provider are on the same page with the desired results

  • After the consultation, we will pigment match for your specific hair and skin color

  • A professional evaluation and measurement of your eyebrows will take place in order to ensure a natural and youthful appearance of the brows

  • Only when you're happy and have approved of everything, we will get started with the actual blading process

  • Once your brows have received as much enhancement as they can for one session, we will seal the pigment to achieve the best-healed results

  • We will take an "after" photo of your brows to show the comparison from the original photo

  • Lastly, upon making sure that you are over the moon for your new brow shape and color, we will then schedule you for your Perfecting Session! *Don't forget Powder Brows are a multi-step process (at least two sessions required)

The second appointment is called the Perfecting Session:

  • This session is always scheduled between 4-6 weeks after the Initial Session. This will give your skin enough time to process the pigment that has been deposited and to fully heal

  • Don't worry if you have any oops moments during your first weeks of healing. We will re-add any marks that may have not healed properly, or were accidentally removed during your healing process

  • We will also check your brow shape and color, adjusting and adding anything that may be needed

  • During this time we will do anything that is needed to "perfect" your brows
